25 FREE songs at EMusic dot com
Just the other day I was browsing through a Car and Driver Magazine that my Husband had laying around the house. Little did I know that I was going to see an ad for EMusic.com. I rarely look at ads especially because I do not go shopping enough to use them, however the ad for EMusic caught my eye. It said “25 FREE Songs“. Now, keep in 
mind that when I see the word FREE in an ad I rarely read any further because the chances of getting anything for FREE is very rare. I am also not one to sign up and give out my email address and or credit card unless I am sure that I will not be charged or annoyed with emails. I looked into this ad more closely on the EMusic website and on the ad itself and found that all you need to sign up and get your 25 free songs is your email address and credit card. I read the fine print and EMusic will not charge my credit card unless I do not cancel my subscription after the 7 day trial period. So, I did sign up and I did download my 25 free songs, all in one day and then I canceled my account.
In order to Download the music from EMusic and not use their download manager, you need to login to your account settings and disable your “download manager”. This will allow you to download songs in mp3 format to play on your computer, Ipod, Zune, CD player and more.
Keep in mind that EMusic does not carry top artists like J Lo, Bon Jovi, Brittany Spears and Bruce Springsteen. I did however find artists that are not very popular but that had music that I like and I found new artists with great music as well.
If you listen to music often and would like 25 FREE songs, EMusic is the place. Just do not forget to cancel your account before the 7 day trial is up or you will end up being charged. I would highly recommend downloading all 25 songs at once and then canceling your account, unless you want to become a subscriber.
