Shop for next Christmas the week after the 25th
If you are in a pinch and are not sure what your money situation will be like next year for the Holidays you should start your 2009 Christmas shopping the week after Christmas. This is when all of the shops and stores will be having huge specials. They wait for everyone to get money and gift cards for Christmas, and then they have HUGE sales so that you will spend your money with them. Well, why not jump on the bandwagon and start shopping for next year and SAVE a bundle while you are at it.
Be careful of what you do buy if you do decide to do this, you will not want to buy gift cards, gift certificates, food, candy or any items that are perishable and or have an expiration date.
DO buy items that you KNOW your friends and family will love and that you would buy them anyway. Also, holdai decorations, wrapping paper and gift bags will be on sale. Buying these will save you money in decorating and gift wrapping next year.
