Father’s Day on a Budget
Sometimes simple is just better. If you cannot afford to buy your dad a huge expensive gift this year, there
are many other options that are inexpensive and yet can mean a lot to your dad. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to show your dad you care. Sometimes a simple card that says “I love you Dad” is all you need to give. You may even try making your own card with materials you have at home to add a personal touch to your card. I find that the simple, smaller items work very well with dads. I know my dad LOVES chocolate, so if I get him a small box of chocolates he gives me a grin from ear to ear! Just a simple box of chocolates can mean so much to someone that loves chocolate. Another great inexpensive gift is a gift card to your dad’s favorite place. You can get a $10 gift card and then your dad can buy whatever he wants. Think out of the box this year and think of what your dad really likes and work with that. Many dads like many different things, but whatever he likes, I am sure that whatever you do he will love it, no matter how much you did or did not spend!
