The Pro’s to Saving Money
While saving money may not be easy for most people it really is a great way to keep money aside for a rainy day. And you never know when it is going to rain or eve pour and you may need some money to keep you afloat. I myself have several credit cards, however I have no credit card debt. I owe not a dime to any credit card company and I am proud of this. I know most people have a very large credit card debt and it is hard to save money when you have to pay your credit card bills. I even know people who live off of credit cards and put everything on them and pay them as needed. This will not solve your money issues at all. Having large credit card debt will just make your money issues even worse. Try taking just some of your paycheck and putting it aside in a savings account and over time you will have a nice amount of money saved to do as you wish. I like knowing that I have money in the bank and knowing that if I need to pay some bills and I did not work enough that month, that I can pay them with my saved money.
I know plenty of people who live paycheck to paycheck ad have not a dime in the bank and it makes me wonder what they would do if something happened with work, or if there was an emergency and they needed money. It is funny how with some people money just burns holes in their pockets and they can’t use it fast enough. I don’t even carry cash with me, this helps me to not spend as much money as I would had I had the cash available to me. Try just carrying your debit card and using it for all of your transactions, it really will help you to cut down on your spending.
Saving money will make you feel so much better about living. When you owe money to people and banks and so forth you are always feeling like your behind the game instead of ahead of it like you should be. Always trying to make that extra money to pay people off and it just doesn’t end. Try saving money and paying off your small loans and then you will know what it feels like to live within your means and to not feel guilty that you owe so many people money.
I am not saying this will be an easy adventure, but just give it a try and you may just save enough money to buy something you have always wanted but never could afford.
