Disney Money Saving Tips
A lot of families on Cape Cod and all over the world love to visit Disney World in Florida for a vacation. I was just at Disney with my family a couple months ago and I had a wonderful time, I did not want to leave. The weather was gorgeous and the Disney parks were fun. I would like to make going to Disney a yearly adventure for my family as I did when I was growing up. It is just nice to get away sometimes and have fun with the family. I do have some Disney money saving tips I would like to share because if you are like me you will be looking online to book your rooms and airfare and more. There are a lot of websites on the internet that will tell you they are the closest to Disney and they are the best place to stay in Disney and they have the cheapest tickets around and more. Be careful.
When finding a place to stay online, make sure to stick with either major chain hotels that you know or make sure to look up a lot of info on hotels you don’t know. You don’t want to end up at a dump or even a place that it out in the boonies and not even close to Disney. Also remember that you will get what you pay for. If a hotel says they will charge only $50 a night it is going to be a dump. You need to spend at least $150 per night to get a nice and clean place to stay that is near Disney. There are hotels that run specials and discounts too, so look out for those, you may be able to get a great deal at a great hotel.
Another Disney money saving tip I would like to share is that Disney does not discount any of their park tickets anywhere! So no matter how many websites you see selling Disney tickets for only $15 and such, they are selling you info about a timeshare not a Disney ticket. You must buy your Disney tickets through Disney only. This is either on the Disney website or at the Disney gates. You will get the same discounts at the Disney gates, so don’t worry.
There are a lot of dinner shows in and around Disney that are great for all families to enjoy and you CAN get discount tickets for these shows online or at your hotel concierge. Sometimes you can even save up to 1/2 off the ticket price if you get your tickets at your Disney hotel or online at a reputable shop.
Once you are in Disney at your hotel make sure to ask your hotel concierge about tickets to area attractions and more as they will know what is the best and what places are having discounts and more. Unfortunately going to Disney is not a cheap adventure by any means. You really do need to save money to go on a nice family trip to Disney. It is well worth the time and money and your family will love it, but make sure to start saving ASAP to have all the fun you can while in Disney.
