Buy Store Brand…Not Name Brand
Next time you go food shopping try to buy as much of your food as you can in off brands. When you buy name brand products you pay a much higher price than store brand items. I have always bought my food items and toiletries and such in store brand. I shop at Stop and Shop and I have been very happy with their brand of products. Most of the time if you read the ingredients on a name brand item versus a store brand item they will be identical. So, you are paying extra to have a pretty box that says a brand name. I especially buy my milk, eggs, cheese, canned soup and Sour cream in store brands. All these items are the same whether brand name or not. You can also buy your paper towels in store brand and toilet paper. You will notice a big change in the amount you spend when you go food shopping if you shop store brand for most of your items next time.
