So many ways to save…..
There are so many ways to save money here on Cape Cod and I would love to just ramble off all of them at once, but I just don’t have the time. Everyday I notice yet another way to save money and all these ideas are in my head and I just have to let them out. Today I have decided to talk about buying food in bulk. The reason I have decided to do this is because there is a lot of talk about food shortages and food prices rising and such. Now may be the time to stock up on canned foods and nonperishable food items so that if there is ever a food shortage or if the prices skyrocket, you will have plenty of food to last and you will have paid less for it too.
The best place on Cape Cod to by food in bulk is at Bj’s Wholesale Club in Hyannis. There is a fee to join of $45 for the year, but well worth the money when you realize how much money you will save by shopping at Bj’s and in bulk. Bj’s will save you money each time you shop whether you need canned goods, meat, baby supplies, dog supplies and more. Bj’s also has coupons they send you when you become a member and these coupons are sent to you every month. These coupons for members only give you an additional savings and are well worth looking over.
We all have to buy food and go food shopping, so why not save money each time by shopping at a wholesale club such as Bj’s. Buy in bulk which saves time and saves money in gas. This way you only need to go shopping every two to four weeks instead of every week. I try to buy most of my food once per month and buy little things in between.
